Guide to HESA Vacuum Packing Process
This guide outlines the steps for initiating, completing, and configuring the Vacuum Packing Process for Endoscopes. It provides clear instructions for operators to follow, including how to start and finish the packing process, record outcomes, and set expiry times for packing methods. Ensure you follow each step carefully to maintain accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
Starting the Vacuum Packing Process

Click the Vacuum Pack Scope button to initiate the process.

Scan the operator's name to log the user.

Scan or locate the scope to start vacuum packing.

Click Start Packing to begin the packing process.

Pack the scope using the vacuum packing machine.
Finishing the Vacuum Packing Process

Complete vacuum packing using the vacuum packing machine.

Click the Vacuum Pack Scope button to proceed.

Scan the operator's name to log the user.

Scan or locate the scope to display the available options.
Options Available:

Finish Packing: Record the completion of vacuum packing and generate a label if required.

Fail Packing: Record a failure in the vacuum packing process.

Finish Packing & Despatch Scope: Record the completion of vacuum packing and select a despatch location for the scope.
Setting Packing Method Expiry Times
Note: Expiry times can be configured in Settings > Timings Settings

Enter the expiry times for:

Long Vacuum Pack (days and hours) - Wet and Dry

Short Vacuum Pack (days and hours) - Wet and Dry

Enter the Vacuum Pack Warning period (days and hours).

Click Save to apply the settings.
